1. Tarot Cards: I got my first deck of tarot cards, a small-sized Rider-Waite-Smith, from Charis, the lesbian/mystical bookstore in Atlanta's Little Five Points. This was junior high or maybe high-school. I did readings for friends. On a summer break from college,cnoocy and I came up with the Discordian Deck, a tarot-like deck of cards based on Discordianism, and made a deck using basic Mac desktop publishing software. We shared a pdf version with the internet shortly afterwards. I drew a new version on index cards the year after I graduated and at some point cnoocy created a hand-coded postscript version. I've continued to occasionally collect tarot decks and other divinatory tools though I lost that original deck somewhere and I think it's been a decade since I did a reading.
2. Artificial sweeteners: I used to not care about them when I was small (like when Nutrasweet was first introduced) but these days I can't stand them. Sugar or corn syrup only, please.
3. Bowties: I've only worn clip-together versions on the few occasions I've worn a tux. They're fine but I'm not too big on ties of any sort.
